My Belly Button tingles. Please Help!?

There is a tingly sensation behind my belly button that will not go away. The area is NOT inflammed or red. It feels like someone is pulling behind it and sometimes it makes me feel like I need to go to the bathroom or something. I have had a belly button ring for over 7 years and never caused me problems. But it is the interior of my belly button that is tingling so I do not think that is the cause. My stomach is not bloated either. Someone please HELP! What is it?

might be the start of an infection due to belly ring. but if it does not stop and/or worsens then go to a doc.

it sounds like nerve damage
