I do not use NTL but from my knowledge every Internet service provider has an online area where you can check this things on their website.Alternatively you can contact them by phone and they will be pleased to help you

Ntl provide 55MB of webspace with all its broadband services and the service speed is show on your monthly bill.
They say that all of their services are now unlimited download, but subject to a fair use policy.
