Saludos, Luis:
Only in a Communist or dictatorial system the government will control your life as you describe it. In America we don't have that type of government or system. Now, right now we are in war with the Muslims terrorists and they want to destroy us and prove of that we all saw it in 9/11 bombing in New York and the communications that we get in the news about them wanting to destroy us. AND, because of that our government have to take extreme measures to prevent this from happening. So, control my life NO,,, but to do everything in their power to eradicate this terrorists, YES.

No. If people keep pushing for gov health care, welfare, gov. run energy providers, and the general take care of my lazy *** attitude the government may be allowed to run peoples life. They only have the power we allow them to have. By being self reliant we prevent them from getting too powerful.

The Constitution is a document that is meant to protect us from the government, but I don't know if we can find it since Bush misplaced it a few years ago.

THEY ALREADY HAVE CONTROL.
YOU'RE TOLD WHEN YOU CAN DRINK.
YOU'RE TOLD HOW MUCH TAX TO PAY.
YOU'RE TOLD WHAT AND WHEN TO FIGHT.
YOU'RE TOLD WHAT YOU CAN AND CANNOT DO TO YOURSELF.
YOU'RE TOLD HOW TO RAISE YOUR CHILDREN
YOU'RE TOLD HOW AND HOW MUCH TO LEARN IN SCHOOL (STANDARDIZED TESTING)
YOU'RE TOLD HOW MUCH MEDICAL COVERAGE YOU CAN RECEIVE.
YOU'RE TOLD HOW MUCH YOU WILL GET WHEN YOU RETIRE.
YOU'RE UNDER GOVERNMENT CONTROL WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT.

WE ARE A REPUBLIC UNDER THE GUISE OF A DEMOCRACY.

IN A DEMOCRACY MAJORITY RULES NO MATTER WHAT. THE DEMOCRACY DICTATES THE CONSTITUTION.

IN A REPUBLIC THE CONSTITUTION RULES NO MATTER WHAT THE MAJORITY WANTS.

IF MAJORITY RULED THEN BUSH WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ELECTED PRESIDENT.

and to the Republic for which it stands, DOES THAT SOUND FAMILIAR ?

No. The whole point of the Constitution is to protect us FROM government. Social programs and those that support them are evil.
