(below your "social status") just because you felt bad for him/her and then realize you really like them?

(I'm not trying to be a snob. I'm just wondering if it happened to you.)

Yes I have but I never really look at "social status" because we all come into the world the same way, and all of us leave it the same way.

Yes I have....it was very difficult. And it took a long time before I was over the friendship. I knew it was for the best...so I ended it..

PS....the friendship did not end because of her social status...there was more to it than that...

Sometimes I'm sad about it, although I have no regrets....

I never feel bad for other peoples choices. they sleep in the bed they made.

some homeless may be that way because of circumstances outside their control, but many times it was their choice of action, or lack of action that caused it.

i see them drinking, so they are not starving.
as a kid of about 14 I offered a bum a cheeseburger, as his sign said he was hungry and wanted money for food. he said "no thanks, have you got a dollar?"
I then knew that they think we are as stupid as they are, and dont want food, just booze.
