i think tony dungy has the best chance , but only cause he has the best white qb in football.seriously not being racist or starting conspiracies. just curious to see ppl's take on why they think it just happens to be this way?

Joe Gibbs won with Doug Williams? Change take time. The odds though are that a black coach or another black qb will win a SB due to the proliferation of black coaches and black qb's in the sport. If you take a look at qb's in the NFL that have won the SB, they are all pocket qb's. Steve Young & John Elway ran and so did Roger Staubach however they were pocket qb's when they won their sb's. Black or White you must be a pocket qb and i don't think Vick or Vince Young will be any good till they learn to use the talent around them for the NFL style game.
That being said chances are good that a non-white, non-running pocket qb from the get go will win the sb (think Tommie Smith).

Doug Williams (black) won the superbowl and was MVP. So I don't know what to tell you. Black coaches are a more recent thing so there chances have been a lot less to win titles. And Payton Manning is currently the best QB white or black.

As for coaches, Dungy is the only one who has even gotten close.
I think that once there are a higher percentage of them in the league as QB's and coaches then it will happen more often.

Do you think that don't have black qb to win super bowl? I don't think so, there are always first black qb to playing in super bowl is D Williams of Redskins who's MVP of the game.
NFL always has first black coach, but he failed later. Some black coaches are fell short into Super Bowl are Colts coach three years ago.
