My cards are in a shop and sell for $1.95, so I get a portion of that. Cards are slow even at that price. So many people make their own cards. There are dollar stores all over and regular stores that have 99 cent card racks.

Youre right, the supplies are expensive. How much you can charge depends on alot, including where you are selling them and how nice they are as compared to what is available at the store. You could always start with $5.00 and lower the price if they dont sell, or you could start lower and raise the price slowly as you develop a customer base. Good luck

If you are doing it on your pc it would not be profitable as the colour ink is expensive. you may have to invest in a laser printer and it still is a expensive venture if you are into making money. On the other hand if it for custom made to order $5. is way to cheap look around $8 to $10

I live in northern california. I went to an xmas craft fair, and they had handmade cards that they were selling for $2.50 each. They were very simple, but very cute and made from good quality papers/stock.

Start at $5; if nothing sells, lower your price a little. If they sell like hotcakes, then raise your price a little. Obviously you want to make as much as possible.

Depends on the quality and how andwhere they are being sold. Usually it's double the cost of supplies, maybe cheaper to get costumers. If they will sell the prices can be higher.

5-7 would be ideal depending on the time it took you. I don't think anyone would pay anything over that.

Have fun & good luck!

what i would do is go ahead and break down the cost that it takes to make a card. then add your profit that you want to make.

give it a try and see what happens, it really has a lot to do what you put into it, i simply watercolor mine, not a lot of money into that. i did all my own christmas cards this year.
