My friend burned me this CD and told me track nine (he wrote the names of each song) was by Pantera. I'm pretty sure I own all Pantera's stuff, so WTF?

Metal Magic is the first album by heavy metal band Pantera, released in 1983 (see 1983 in music). Like the band's next three releases, this album was musically oriented toward a hard rock/glam metal sound, rather than the groove metal style they became famous for starting with 1990's Cowboys from Hell. It was released on the band's own label (also called Metal Magic) and produced by Jerry Abbott (under the alias "The Eldn'"), father of Dimebag Darrell and Vinnie Paul, and notable country music songwriter and producer.

[edit] Track listing
All tracks by Pantera unless noted otherwise.

Yes, Pantera had an album called Metal Magic and a song on it by the same name. They had 3 records out before Phil Anselmo joined the band - the albums were kinda hair-metal and Dimebag was called "Diamond Darrel".

It was during the 90s that they morphed into the ***-kickers they are today.
