Celebrity Big Brother is populated by foul-mouthed,illiterate,racist,nobodies whose only claim to fame is that they have big mouths,cannot speak without swearing,unable to articulate a sentence without sounding like a dockyard fishwife,no decent diction amongst them,and whose IQ can be measured in single figures on a hand.What are we teaching our kids these days if this rabble is the best they can come up with?Are we really expecting our kids to have these imbeciles as role models to look up to?Perhaps with the general level of racism now being shown all day and night on Freeview,its hardly suprising kids never learn tolerence and respect for each other if this is the kind of dumbed-down, boring and despicable TV we're being subjected to.Nothing else matters these days except how much money C4 get for screening this trash.Why get in the way of good manners, tolerence and acceptence of others where C4 profits are concerned?Bring back decent TV!

She won because it is fixed, big brother is scripted to a certain extent. First off, ulrika isn't a real celebrity, she was a weather-girl, shes just known for sleeping around with various celebrities. Secondly, despite her lack of real star status, she insisted on being paid DOUBLE what all the other housemates were getting paid.. this backs up Terry's theory that she thinks she is better than everyone else. Also, she was bossy, snotty, didn't bother much with tasks etc.. She also moaned a lot and didn't get stuck into the show at all.. she was there for the money then wanted to leave as soon as she had it. Another thing to note is that she was being booed right up until the show finished, surely if she'd captured the nations hearts and won the majority of votes half the fans at the house would have booed her. Everyone I know wanted her out first, I don't personally know anyone who voted her to win. She wouldn't have got the funny vote like Coolio because she's not funny, nor would she have got any sympathy votes like Verne and she wouldn't have even got the vote for being the best looking because she's past it and there were better looking housemates. FIX FIX FIX Coolio was hilarious and by far the most entertaining, Terry was the soundest and most down to earth... Either of them should have won.

My problem isn't the fact that C4 chose these people to be in the house. After all, they are real people representing a growing strata of British society. These are the young people nowadays who would prefer to binge drink, fight, disrespect each other and have sex with anyone who'll have them instead of getting educated and having any ambition.
It shouldn't matter that these programs are on TV, the point is that people should choose not to watch them. Parents should interact with their kids more instead of sitting them in front of the TV.
Its all well and good that the middle class should look down on these 'imbeciles' and pass judgement on them but when they do nothing to tackle the increasing wealth divisions in this country, the lack of willingness to understand other cultures and the binge drinking and teenage sex culture which is growing then they, the middle class, are also 'imbeciles'.
Racism is increasing in this country and has been for a while but we try to ignore it and then seem shocked when we see it on TV. The actions of Jade and her little friends are just another wake up call, another being the huge rise of the BNP. We should boycott C4 but also help to improve impoverished areas and give younger people something to strive for other than a council flat.

Excellent question Alan! But why stop at Celebrity Big Brother? The whole Big Brother concept is the lowest form of television yet invented, and serves only to appeal to the same sad individuals who believe what they read in tabloid newspapers and celebrity magazines.

I have to say that I absolutely agree with every point that you have made about this programme. It is utter rubbish, and I for one will not watch it any more as it has definitely had it's day. It is a bad influence on the younger generation, and yes Channel 4, bring back some decent TV. Good for you for putting it so bluntly, now write to Channel 4 and tell them, and add my name to it too !

Agree entirely well said, unfortunately it appeals to the lower echelons of society and what makes matters worse is the ringleader of this little gang of racist bullies happens to be the 25th most influential person in the world - if this is the case then C4 should get it out of there quick!!!!

Big Brother has gone so stale, times have since moved on from the first BB. Viewers have since moved on with the times. My advice is to scrap it altogether and start broadcasting something decent on British Television.

Reality TV is a contradiction in terms because it's the most UNREAL TV of the lot!!!

exactly.. in my view the show was **** from the off n we're now in the 5th series or something? this whole issue is as good an excuse as any to pull the show off the air, i don't even watch it n never have cos its mindless drivel.. and to think they're gonna keep putting the tv licence fees up and up and up and.. grr

the producers are just out to get the most ignorant thick people on TV and let them tear strips off each other so they can make a quick buck, they have their choice of thousands of people every year but continue to pick the stupid low life's . think everyone should boycott it and turn it off
