I'm lefthanded and sometimes my friends will be like "OMG I never knew you were lefthanded!
How can you write with ur lefthand? It looks so hard! how come ur handwriting isn't like messy?"
But the weird thing is that I can only use the computer mouse with my right hand and I throw a ball with my right and i also can use my righthand on a chalkboard or something.
do u think thats weird?

The last time I saw a statistic on it, only 7% of people were left-handed, so it's not that common. Most people don't even think about it, which is why your friends are surprised. As for the other, most people do not use one hand exclusively, just more. Personally, I do most things with my left hand because it feels more natural. Do what's comfy for you, and be glad they stopped forcing lefties to use their right hand.

No, a lot of left-handed people have had to learn ambidexterity in order to get along in the world. I married one, and my mom is engaged to another. (Incidentally, he was one of the last Catholic kids to have his hand hit hard by nuns, in order to make him write right-handed! That stopped in the 60s and 70s.) So it's not weird to me at all.

I write right-handed, but I'm also ambidextrous. I can serve or eat food with either hand (which serves me well on Thanksgiving, when I'm having to chop and stir a lot!), and I play bass with my left hand.

To answer your original question, I guess it's just because it's a bit unusual. Only 10 percent of people are left-handed. But there are worse ways to stand out.

I'm left handed too. I do a lot of things like using the computer right handed too. It's common. It's kind of annoying when people act like it's not that common. Many years ago people thought it was a sign of the devil. My grandma was left handed but wrote with her right hand because when she was a kid she was forced to.

Weird? Not really. I have a left-handed brother whose handwriting is better than mine...keep practicing.

They're just jealous.....
You're ability to be mildly ambidextrous is not weird either, I am the same way.
