Well let us remember that she was nominated in a category against Meryl Streep, so her odds were bad from the start. Her performance was not on the same level as the other women nominated in that category. As for the the song "Listen" there is a lot of controversy about the song because she took full writing credit in public interviews when she didn't actually contribute that much to the writing. Dreamgirls was really Jennifer Hudson's film and that was obvious to everyone who saw the film. If Beyonce wants to be taken seriously she'll need to follow in the lines of Halle Berry and do more gritty roles where her beauty is not the central focus. I think audiences want to see her play a character that isn't always the "pretty girl" or the "singing girl."

Jennifer Hudson gained. How is that racist? Beyonce did not 'lose' some thing. She only became no longer the added useful actress, and that is the way it is going. previous that, her body of recommendations in the route of Jennifer Hudson has been very impolite. She placed her down for being complete figured, and for having no Grammy awards. i don't love that in any respect. Jennifer will attain her aims, and she or he will act to boot as sing. Beyonce is having her time at present, so i imagine she should be chuffed at the same time with her fulfillment, and attempt to be slightly extra humble. She has no longer some thing to whinge about, and her father is a fool. He ought to bypass cry in a unmarried of those massive luggage of money that he's sitting on. it truly is only ungrateful. If Hollywood is so racist, why doesn't he bypass faraway from it and go back all that 'racist' money Hollywood has given him?

NO, No, No......Beyonce is wonderful performer/singer. But a horrible actress she just dont got it. She needs to stick with singing. There is no way she could have possiby thought she was going to get an award for that role of Deana she did nothing but look pretty. The movie was J. Hud's. If Angela Basset did not get her award for Tina Turner Whats love got to do with it (and played the hell out of that role). Then I will be damned if Beyonce got an award I wonder why she was even nominated.Beyonce should have not even otter the word globe or oscar she is not worthy of that. And what is going on with her not writing these songs like irreplacable (Neo wrote it)??

Well, her role wasn't as dominate as Jennifer Hudson's. Hudson definitely deserved that award. Beyonce isn't overated, but that award wasn't meant for her.

Hell no. She was good in DreamGirls, which is a step up for her because she's usually crap when she acts. But there is no way hell she deserved to win over MERYL STREEP!
