Cake donuts are very popular. I am not sure about pie donuts. New types are still being discovered....so there must be an undiscovered species.

I think they should be more classified as a meal, such as the Whopper. I've heard that a donut has just as much fat as a Large fast food burger. I find it so sad because I can seriously eat like 3 donuts in one sitting.

Donuts are evil little cakes that make you think you can eat a whole bunch because they are small, and then next thing you know ::BAM:: you've got a big butt.

If we tear the little thing apart, we find dough [as in "pie"], filling [as in "pie"] and occasionally but not always, something on top [as in "more pie"]. It is therefore not the case that a doughnut is not pie.
