I scan the pictures from the left to the right! :)

It depends on the picture. If the picture is a black background with a pink flamingo on the left hand side, I'll probably look at the flamingo (on the left) first, but if the flamingo were to be in the right hand side, I would probably look at that side first. Where you look at a picture first usually depends upon where the creator of the picture wants you to look first. If it is a well-done picture, then you should look at what is meant to be the focus of the picture first. If it isn't very good, you'll probably just stare at the most brightly colored region or the center of the picture first.

from Left to right, however there is a simple explination...English is read from left to right. You might get a different response from somebody who speaks Hebrew. It also depends on the composition of the image. There are many ways to force the eye to view things in a certain order.

I look at a picture from left top to bottom. Our eyes are trained to look at things from our strongest eye side.
