The birth control pill will seriously cut down on blood flow and cramps. I've been where you are, I was sent home from school almost every single month! Good Luck

Drink plenty of water, make sure you eat a complete breakfast before you head off to school, and discuss with your parents the idea of taking birth control, this will cut down on your period length and hopefully even the pain for you. Maybe take some Midol, but I don't suggest taking it all the time, because your tolerance will become high and they will start to have little to no affect on you. If you find that there really is no solution for you, see your doctor right away and he/she might be able to give you something or send you in the right direction. Good luck sweetie, I know how that goes.

A healthy diet always reduces the pain during this time, try gentle exercise, like walking a little bit around the house. You can take pain killers, but try not to take them all of the time.
It is also true that a little ahem, I can't really say this on here, but "personal time" if you know what I mean does relax the muscles in that area and eases the pain.
You can also get natural hormone suppliments, like Starflower oil, or Evening Primrose oil, many women take these on their period to maintain a hormone balance, and this may help your pain too :)

I have been where you are the only things that I found that helped was taking Midol the one specifically for cramps and applying a heat pad the heat pad works great but when you are in school just try the midol if nothing seems to work go see a doctor they might be able to help by giving you something for it or figuring out why they are so bad like my sister had bad cramps come to find out that they were caused by an ovarian cyst not to scare you but they could be bad cause something could be causing it. Hope this helps and I hope you fell better.

Oh poor you it is very distressing to suffer with period pains, so instead of suffering in silence go and see your doctor. It's normal to feel as though you want to have a poo and if you can it does help as does moderate excercise.

Keep a diary and see what helps with the pain and what doesn't that way you can control the pain yourself. However, as you get older and you still have this problem you will need to get treatment for it in case you have endometreosis which I sincerely hope you will not develop.

All the best and get a hot water bottle and curl up in front of the fire. Take Plenty of fluids. X

If you can get hold of them - co-codamol are excellent, no other painkillers help me.
Also, if you think you can get away with it, try one of those heat patches, they might be a bit obvious if you have PE or anything though, but yeah, if you can whack one of those in it's like having a hot water bottle there all the time.
If everything else failsd, go to the doctor for strong painkillers, or another remedy (sometimes they put you on the pill, not sure how you'd feel about that though)

When my periods first started I felt the same. The only thing that helped was taking 4 ibuprofen and drinking plenty of water and getting plenty of rest. You should start to feel relief 3 days after your period starts. If you continue to have pain and pressure you might want to see a OB. Midol is great but its the same as ibuprofen and cost a lot less to.

You need to take the painkillers (nurofen's good, but if it doesn't work, ask your doc for prescription), at least 2 the minute you notice your period has started. The effect is better if you manage to take the painkiller before you get the cramps. Take more painkillers about every 4 hours. Try also heatpads and some light exercise. If nothing else helps you need to consider birth control, but discuss with your doc about opitons. Good luck!

I get really painful period pains, i've had them for over 4 years now, but whenever i get them (usually the first couple of days of my period) i take 2 paracetamols every 4 hours and when i come home from school and make a hot water bottle and it really helps.
But there is now way of completely getting rid of the pain, but taking paracetamol is the best way.
Hope this helps
Good Luck

MIDOL or any other meds that is for PMS. Maybe you need a prescription strength

Go home and take a Hot Bath and then use a Heating Pad on your back or your stomach.

WOW I UNDERSTAND I used to hurt so bad in school I would cry, but to dad that was no reason to come home.
Good Luck

i feel the exact same pain and i do have to go alot to the bathroom. i use a heating pad before going to school and work, for about a half an hour. also my gyno told me that aleve works best. he told me to take three though the dosage is only two. it helps though. im also on birthcontrol and i recently switched. i've always heard that birthcontrol helps with cramps, and ever since i switched i believe it. i was on yasmin, i had No cramps. i'd forget i was even on my period. then i got put on yaz and its horrible. i cry becuase of the intense pain. but the heat works great.
