Hi David,

How are you? It was great to hear from you. What day are you arriving please? I only ask because I have classes from Mondays to Fridays.

I can come and meet you if I'm free, but if not then you might have to get a taxi, which will cost about £6 from the train station. Give me a call before you get here like you mentioned, and then I can tell you if I'm free or not.

I'm glad you're looking forward to coming! Which sights would you like to see? We could go to the museum, or the art gallery. Also we could go to the park, it's very beautiful at this time of year and we can feed the ducks!

Bring lots of t-shirts and shorts as it is usually quite warm here in July. You can bring your swimming trunks if you want, but I won't be swimming as I'm not really interested in sports. I'm not very athletic!

Bring lots of money as days out are quite expensive here. Also food is quite a lot when you eat out in restaurants, as I'm sure we will be doing!

All the best and see you soon,
Carla xx

Hi David, it would help if you could tell me which day you are arriving on as I might have to arrange time off school. Or you could grab a cab that would make things easier for me if it is a school day( £ depends on from where to where). Once you get here we could take a spin on the London Eye and there is always the Art Galleries to visit, Oh David remember this is England pack warm clothes something water proof and shorts and T-shirts who knows what the weather could be like, but you could leave your trunks at home. As for money all you can spare and then some, when did you become a skinflint? See you soon Carla.♥

Sorry have not counted how many words, but I hope this gives you an idea,
P.S. there were a couple of spelling mistakes in the question, give your teacher a roasting.

Hi Carla!

Just a postcard to say I'll be arriving at the end of next month. It should be a Sat as I have classes on weekdays. Could you meet me? I understand you do not have a vehicle but you could take a taxi as it shouldn't cost you more than £5 to the station. . Perhaps I could give you a ring about half an hour before I get there so you won't have to hang aroung for me. Can't wait to see the sites, such as Canterbury Tales and the Cathedral and have a few nights out together. By the way, what sort of clothes should I bring? I understand that it is usually warm during summer in July. Will we need swimming suits or anything like that? I must admit I am not interested in sports. Let me know. What about money? Do I need to bring loads? Is everything very expensive or can I get by withought breaking the bank?

See you soon,

David

How about that? Didn't change a lot. Just added what was between brackets... Hope it is good!

Hi David

Thanks very much for the postcard. What day exactly will you be coming on? I have classes on weekdays, so weekends would be better for me, if possible.

If you give me a call about half an hour before you get to the station, I will meet you there and we can take a taxi back to mine and maybe tale a look at some of the sights first.

There's lots to see here and we should visit the Cathedral together and the old castle as well as having a few nights together.

You should bring summery clothes as the weather here will be quite warm, but there's no need for swimming clothes.

I'm afraid you will need lots of money as everything is very expensive here.

Looking forward to seeing to you soon

Hi David,
Good to hear from you and can't wait to see you next month. On what day are you arriving? I have classes Monday to Friday and so a weekend day would be best for me. Not sure I will be able to meet you, I think a taxi would be the best way for you to get here. It will cost around 5 euros.
Whilst you are here we can go and see the Coliseum and the leaning tower - they are fantastic sights. It is warm here as it is summer time so bring plenty of shorts and t shirts to keep you cool. I'm not interested in sports though so I won't be swimming with you.
Bring plenty of money!
See you soon,
Carla

Hi David, thanks for the postcard; can't wait til you get here! When exactly will you arrive? I have classes on weekdays so I probably couldn't meet you during the day. You could take a taxi for about 10 euros. I'd love to show you sights. What sort of things interest you? It is hot here in the summer so pretty much just bring light clothes and maybe a sweater. It will be hot enough to go swimming but I'm not interested in sports myself. One thing for sure, bring lots of money!

Ciao,

Carla.

I would like to meet you but I have to attend classes on weekdays. If you arrive at a time when I am free, I will come in a taxi to pick you up. The taxi should only cost about £5 each and will be easier than getting on trains and so on. It will be nice for me to show you the sites ,like Buckingham Palace and Tower Bridge. As regards clothes, you should bring something cool that you will be comfortable in. It can get quite warm here in July (if you have a light raincoat, you could bring that, too. Because it can rain here quite suddenly!) Don't bother with any sports gear, if you want to go swimming, we should be able to get you some trunks at a reasonable price.
You will need to bring enough to live on, plus you want to go out in the evenings so bring plenty of spending money!
I am looking forward to seeing you
etc etc. Hope this helps. You can you use any bits you like and change them around to suit you.
Prego! E multo bene. Perche non? Ciao!
