Well, yes. I installed a game on my computer today and was confused to see that there was a new drive [H:] created automatically in this process ?

The H drive has also got the game's name and shows 52KB of memory without any disk in it !

This is wierd, isn't it ?

well depends on the game since are you using something like demontools, so this works with using the cd to run the game.
u can remove it using the windows drive management in the admin tools of the control pannel

may b the game creates a virtual directory/drive. try uninstalling and see if that helps.
