I would like buy a pair of vintage shoes from the 1930's on Ebay, but the dealer only lists the shoes length in inches. How many inches would a 7-7.5 foot be?

size 7 to 7 1/2 IS the standard way to measure shoes !!!

and yes that is the length of the foot in inches

BUT ONLY FOR MENS SHOES for womens shoes add 1 1/2 ( a mens 7 is a womans 8 1/2 )

the tables listed below are the size of the SHOE not the foot it fits - a 7 1/2 fits a 7 1/2 FOOT but of course the shoe is longer !!!

Actually it's 84-90 inches. A foot is 12 inches.

12 inches = 1 foot

I wear a size 12, and that's about 1 foot or 12 inches.

Does that make any sense?

You can convert everything to inches. 1.75 in = 18 in { 12 x 1.5} 1 in = 18/1.75 in =10.2817 in 7 in = 10.2817 x 7 = 71.9719 in =5.99 ft or 6 ft
