If the public is as useless & inept that the Yahoo answerers are the politicians & their puppet master wealthy ruling class can operate without any worry cause my fellow citizens are all Hat & no cattle they blow smoke! They are lazy stupid and can barely operate their T.V. remotes say nothing about getting out of the chair for some real action! The only thing i see to motivate them is Hey you could be in control of Money/Power/Wealth with Total majority rule & control by the legal citizens but they seem on here to Stupid to understand that! Third party my butt people drop out and give up hope apathy style! We have seen name change of the republican party once the wigs, rarly the bull moose party! The system can not be secured for the best interest of everyones family hence must be ended! We do not need this method and are fools to keep on patronizing it! I perfer snatchonthelips to your title!

to rebel against the 2 party system in America would essentially mean another American Revolution and a completely new constitution. It's not so much the poticians and the media that are holding us back, although they are factors, but rather the very institution we've been living under for over 200 years. When you have a majority rule single member district, presidential system it automatically causes there to be only 2 prominent parties in that countries politics. Until our country becomes a proportional representation system of governing our country will always have a two party system

A viable third party candidate. People too often vote party or vote for the person they think might win. Until that mentality changes and a viable third party candidate emerges then nothing will change in the two party system.

Won't happen. If the American people lose confidence in the two party system they will simply migrate to one of the alternative political parties.

It would take an end to the "Culture Wars". Right now there are a lot of people who support the Republicans because they push all their resentment buttons, and others who support the Democrats mostly because they aren't the Republicans.

Better candidates. The problem is the job. What decent person would want it? Those who want it are suspect immediately.

We have to get decent people to run, and maybe make it a job a decent person could stand to hold.
