When we conceived we had sex 3 days before ovulation, 2 days before, 1 day before and the day after and 2 days after. Do you think the baby is more likely to be a girl or a boy judging by how long sperm lives etc?

The baby will be a boy if a Y Sperm reaches your egg first, and a girl if an X sperm reaches the egg first. You can't tell based on when you have sex - it all depends on which sperm swims the fastest :) You can find out the gender at your 20 week ultrasound. Until then, have fun guessing ;)

It is 50/50 depending on whether the sperm donated the x or y chromasone. Even if you have 6 boys, the chance you will have a girl on your seventh pregnancy is 50/50.

lol-none of that matters-the only thing that will truly tell you if it is a boy or girl is your 20+ week ultrasound.

when you have sex, how long, how many days has nothing to do with it--it depends on which little guy-or girl-makes it to the egg first.

There is no way to determine the sex of a baby this way. You have to wait until the baby is big enough to tell in ultrasound what the sex is.

IF we guess right you have to let us know LOL I think you are going to have a baby boy. But to really have a better guess you need to know how many brothers and sisters your husband has and how many his father had that will tell you what you are more likely to have. Like if he has 2 brothers no sisters and his father has brothers and 1 sister I would go with boys but if he has sister and no brothers it most likely will be a girl. good luck

Sperm need 48 hours to be fully mature, so the most viable ones would be the female sperm as they live longer and travel slower

What has the day you conceived got to do with the sex of the baby? Also, we do not need to know when you had sex, every time. Check out the website, webmd.com, it is extremely helpful.

the old saying is more you have sex its a girl and less for a boy, could always do the ring test to find out too

ring or thread on a peice of string hold over your tummy, if it goes round and round its a girl and up and down for a boy
