Last year, my fiance and I called Valentines day off- so to speak. We decided not to spend money on anything for each other as it just seems like a fictional consumerists excuse to get soaked for cash.
Instead he opted to write me a letter telling me all of the things he loved about me and why.
It was by far the best thing he could have ever given me and it was quite a shock as he is not normally that type of guy! I loved it!

My bf made me a mixed CD with all the songs that reminded me of him. To make it extra special and personal, he made the CD jacket by writing exactly why each song was included and had pictures of the two of us together. We went out to eat and then we went to his place. He had decorated his room with rose petals that spelled "I love you" and had a montage of pictures from our trips together playing on his computer.
Nothing was expensive or crazy just very romantic and thoughtful. You could tell he spent a lot of time on everything. That was 3 yrs ago and we are still together.

My husband took me to the Compass Room, which is a restaurant on top of a hotel downtown that rotates once every hour. You have the most magnificent view. It was so romantic I was speechless.

My best V-day gift is yet to come. Melrose, my gal, is going to let me have her anal cherry for V-day. She is also going to turn herself into a sundae for me to eat and squirt all over me. This will be the best gift of all.
