There is a big difference between bad business, bad ethics, and illegal actions.

I would say it is the hotel's best interest to let you stay if there is bad weather. They don't want you bad mouthing them. But then again I am not a hotel manager. And they are not a shelter (plus even shelters throw people out). It the rooms were booked they actually have a legal right to room those people who booked them. I suppose they could have let you stay in the lobby or something to be nice. But even Mary and Joesph couldn't find room in an inn.

Yes, it is. Someone else paid for the room after you leave & you have no right to stay in it. I feel bad for you but it's not the hotel's fault. If you can't find another hotel & you can't go home, you may end up at a shelter. It's better than nothing.

The reason why they have Reservations is to have a time frame when people are required to check in. After the set time, if the people requesting a room do not show up, then the policy encourages people who happen to show up take over the reservation from the no-shows.

I'm not sure what the laws are in your state regarding this type of a situation. But I would encourage you to find out what the check in and check out times are and ask the manager what they do when they have a no-show. Chances are if the weather is that bad, they aren't going to fill in all of the reservations.

Its understandeable you would possibly want to be indignant. A marraige is a partnership...hence husband and spouse favor to the contact base abotu each little thing because its no longer just about the only man or woman its 2 lives. each so often human beings forget issues and they make mistakes. Jsut settle down, search for suggestion from with him gently arise with a agenda in case you dont already have one, or a equipment in case this happens back the position he needs to help someone. enable him understand you udnerstand the position he became coming from yet next time all you opt for is a heads up. Dont enable this get in the way too a lot besides the undeniable fact that, anybody makes mistakes. those issues take endurance, dont carry a grudge continually... better of success

Yes, if they have already rented the rooms out then there's nothing more you can do. Hopefully if the weather is really that bad someone will make a cancellation and then there will be a room up for grabs!

Sorry, you're going to have to try and find another place to stay. They are completely within their rights to ask you to leave as the room you are occupying is already booked to someone else.

Yes, I am sorry to say it is. The weather is something no one can control. If the hotel is booked then you will have to vacate your room.

It is legal unless they declared the conditions a state of emergency. In that case(in alot of states) you have the right to stay there even if it is in the lobby.

Sorry... you have to leave. People who had reservations certainly couldn't be turned away to accomodate your extended stay.
