the surface of the matt is created to work well with the pen. So it should sustain the pen (especially the tip) physically. It does break if you put too much pressure, but it shouldn't if you're using it correctly.
Though you don't need to worry so much about the tip of the pen wearing out, it might be best to limit the pressure. Some new user do pushes the pen a little more then they need to. But it should come naturally when you get more used to using the tablet pen, you will have the feel to it.

This will sound weird, however right here is going. Try "white board" marker pens. The style that wipe off. That's the way to get everlasting marker pen off a white-board. Long tale quick, felt tip is colored debris in a solvent. When the solvent evaporates the debris are caught. If you employ a further kind of solvent (like within the white-board pens) you'll be able to shift them, then wipe them away at the same time they're nonetheless suspended within the distinctive solvent used within the white-board marker. Worth a check out!

I found that the tablet gets scratched a lot before the pen tip starts showing any signs of wear. I also found it is not necessary to put a lot of pressure on the pen it is better to adjust the sensitivity settings.
