Deos eny body have eny idea on how do beat cerberus in Kingdom Hearts 1 for ps2???

i got KH(Kingdom Hearts)for ps2 a while ago and im having the hardist time beating cerberus..i can never get eny of the heads to lose ENY healt points.

From what I remember, I always would jump onto him from the back, and hit them while I was on top of their heads. (especially when they stop moving and do that weird thing where the stuff comes out of their mouths). Also, make sure you have a lot of potions, and use some magic. Sorry it's such a vague answer, it's been a while since I've played it. Also, after you beat that game, play KH 2, it's even better!! =]

Its been a while, so here goes: He has several attacks, the worst to me was the black "pits". He fires those repeatedly in the direction you're moving. You will need to roll instead of run when avoiding this attack. I think you have to keep pounding away on each head until each one dies. Sorry, but I can't remember anything else, except I had more trouble fighting Hercules in the arena than with Cerberus. also make sure you fill Donald and Goofy up with healing spells before going in there!

Your problem with the health not going down is probably the fact that Cerberus has more than the shown 5 health bars. When an opponent has more than 5, you have to hit them until one of the unshown health bars are gone before the other ones will go down. It's a pain with Sepheroth, but they fixed it in KH2.

I cant remember the 1 one but i have the 2 one and just lock on to any of the three heads and change into a different form and go crazy attacking it

Stock up your party w/ lots of hi-potions and Donald m/ an ether or two. Big dark splotches will come up from the ground sometimes and will make it hard to run to where you need to be and jeopardize your health but it's the easiest to escape them on the steps. if possible jump onto his back and try to attack one of his heads from there. Locking on is especially useful here.

Yah just like the others said, stock up on HP and MP potions andjump on his back and attack from behind. Donald and Goofy will need the MP and HP and you canpracticly be untouched from up there. Also attach the "Scan" ability so that you can see his health.

It's possible to jump onto his back and whack him from behind while being able to avoid just about all his attacks. Once he starts moving you'll most likely fall though and while you're high and dry your teamates aren't. So be careful and get onto his back again when you can.
