See your Pediatrician and they will give you a prescription for the Medication for treating ringworm!

Thanks, RR

Take the child to the doctor to make sure it's ringworm. S/he will either treat the child or advise you to buy an over-the-counter (OTC) treatment. It's in the child's best interest to be taken to the doctor rather than be treated with an OTC first because it could be something else other than ringworm or it won't respond to an OTC treatment - and then you're going to the doctor anyway after having already spent money.

Ringworm is passed in a variety of ways, not just pets to people.

Ringworm is a fungal infection not a worm. It is not caused by pets. It is similar to athletes foot. It will leave a rash in a circular pattern on the skin. Call the dr. If you found ringworm, a cream can clear it up. If you found something else the dr will know what to do

Are you talking about a pin worm or tape worm??? Ringworm is not a type of parasite, it is a fungal infection that shows up in irritated circular patches. Call the dr and get it looked at.

Use an antifungal cream ie one for athletes foot. It should take care of it. You can get ringworm from any dirty surface, like the floor etc. Probably tracked in on someone's shoes. It isn't a huge deal. The antifungal should take care of it.

You need to take your child to the doctor. They will know what it is, and give you the best answer. I wouldn't even be asking that kind of question, I would be on the phone booking an appointment.

I totally agree with the others, take your child to see a physician, a.s.a.p., if it is ringworm, it is very contagious.
