I don't know why people think you cannot die of the flu. It is possible!! VERY possible. Why else would they give out flu shots??? DUH.

Anyhow, if you are serious get her into the hospital. She doesn't have to lay there dying. If this is true. She needs a doctor not you drinking after her, which I'm assuming you mean drinking from her glass? Why on earth would you want to do that??? I mean even if she was healthy? You could get all kinds of icky things that way.

If it just the flu I am pretty sure she isn't dieing, but what do you mean by she won't let you drink after her- you must mean she won't let you drink from the same glass?? That is smart of her- she doesn't want you to get what she has, if she has a fever get her some Advil or Tylenol and put a cool cloth on her forhead to bring the fever down, try to get her to eat some soups like chicken noodle or kust some chicken broth or give her some popsicles, she must'nt get dehydrated so keep fluids in her if she doesn't feel better in 48 hours take her to the hospital.

Is she really dying? Has she seen a doctor? If it's just the flu, she'll probably survive. I am pretty sick right now...also flu, vomiting, diarrhea, haven't eatten in two days, blah blah blah.

I would first suggest a doctor, and if she just has the flu, I would say lots of water, rest, and bland food. Her own body will make her better. If you want to make her feel better, bring a book, a portable tv, or some soft music to her room, anything more than that, might give her a headache....

If she is going to die of the flu, then there is nothing that you can do. The flu is a virus, which means it has no cure.
Just spend as much time with her as you can and try to keep her happy.
When she finally passes away, you can always keep her memory alive in your heart and soul.

ummm.....i suggest seeing a doctor that knows what they are doing instead of asking such a serious question on a board where half the people dont know what they are talking about!
