My hubby says he used 2 have a copy of a bootleg LP which was made during the lunch break of a recording session with Sly and Robbie (perhaps in 1983 or 1984?) He really loved it and would dearly love another copy but can't remember what it was called. He says that much of it was instrumental tracks and bits and pieces left over from the session but that it was the best thing they ever did!

I know it's a long shot but has anyone else ever heard of anything along those lines?

I'd love to be able to surprise him with a copy for his birthday.

Ta.

No, the copyrights won't be expiring for another 50 years or so. the underlying intellectual property is still owned by someone. Of course that is if you intend to make copies of them (even if it is to keep one for yourself and sell the original). If you mean to sell stuff you found in your closet, so to speak, and then you will have no more copies, then fine, treat it like selling a book to a used bookstore. Have at it. Just don't pretend it is the latter when it is the former :)
