The Bin Laden family has bailed Bush out of more than one of his failed business ventures in the past.

The relationship is not with Osama directly, but with the Bin Ladin family that controls Saudi Arabia. They are the same family, but there are no direct ties to Osama per se. They have a common interest which is obvious.

"In 1979, Bush?s first business, Arbusto Energy, obtained financing from James Bath, a Houstonian and close family friend. One of many investors, Bath gave Bush $50,000 for a 5 percent stake in Arbusto. At the time, Bath was the sole U.S. business representative for Salem bin Laden, head of the wealthy Saudi Arabian family and a brother (one of 17) to Osama bin Laden. It has long been suspected, but never proven, that the Arbusto money came directly from Salem bin Laden. In a statement issued shortly after the September 11 attacks, the White House vehemently denied the connection, insisting that Bath invested his own money, not Salem bin Laden?s, in Arbusto.

"In conflicting statements, Bush at first denied ever knowing Bath, then acknowledged his stake in Arbusto and that he was aware Bath represented Saudi interests. In fact, Bath has extensive ties, both to the bin Laden family and major players in the scandal-ridden Bank of Commerce and Credit International (BCCI) who have gone on to fund Osama bin Laden.

Media and statistics can be skewed to portray any opinion that serves the audiance. However, there is a huge conflict of interest with the current administration and it's oil interests and the awarded contracts (Haliburton & KBR) in Iraq.

The Bin Ladin family members were allowed to fly out of the U.S. on or shortly after 9/11/01.

Take a look at this site:

Keyword search: Bush & Bin Ladin connection.

Edit:
"But if the Bin ladins' connection to the Carlyle Group lasted no more than six years, the current President Bush's own links to the firm go far deeper. In 1990, he was appointed to the board of one of Carlyle's first purchases, an airline food business called Caterair, which they eventually sold at a loss. He left the board in 1992, later to become Governor of Texas. Shortly thereafter, he was responsible for appointing several members of the board which controlled the investment of Texas teachers' pension funds. A few years later, the board decided to invest $100m of public money in the Carlyle Group. The firm's magic touch was already bringing results. Today, it is proving as fruitful as ever."

The Bushes and the Bin Ladens are jointly invested in a company. No one has been able to demonstrate a connection between the Bushes and Osama though.

F911 is not a documentary, it's a story. It's fictional, but it does contain real facts. Even Michael Moore entered into the fiction section for the Oscars (or some award).

Fahrenheit 9/11 is not a reliable source of journalism or facts. It is a piece of anti-American work full of lies and quotes taken out of context and distorted information. I can think of 5 different movies made to debunk the lies in F 9/11.

That film was much more a political statement than documentary. Take what it says with a grain of salt. The implication is that Bush knows of and approves of Osama... Somehow, given the actions each have taken against the other, I doubt it.

That movie is so riddled with lies and half truths it's absolutely amazing that anyone would consider it a documentary. A simple google search will provide you with dozens of examples of flat out mistruths in that piece of garbage movie.
