I used to watch smallville all of the time, but only here and there now....and not too much at all lately. Could you please tell me, why did Lex go 'bad' and hate Clark? How did Lana and Lex 'get together'? And, I always thought is it supposed to be Lois and Clark....are the writers making way for that to happen one day? Also, I saw there were 'other' good guys with power? What was that about?

This season isn't all that great - Lex has always been bad - he's just getting more obvious about it now. Lana ran to Lex when Clark dumped her after they had sex. Now they're pregnant and she just agreed to marry him last week . Ick.
The Green Arrow / Oliver Queen is the one great new addition this year. This week should be the episode where he gathers all the super kids that have been on the show. Aquaman, Flash, Cyborg. That will be cool I think. Oliver is dating Lois, but there is always that little hint about Clark being the one. Especially last week when she kissed Green Arrow, thinking it was Oliver and she said that guy was a way better kisser.
I think I've heard the reason they haven't got together is the show's contract with the Superman PTB. The original Superman story is that they meet in Metropolis, so they can't get together in Smallville. Same as why Clark won't fly on this show.

Yeah its gotten so much better since he got out of high school. i thought when they were in high school it was more of a teen show now its more interesting. Clark and lex got in a big fight and Clark hasnt trusted him. Lana is having LExes baby, and in the last episonde louis kissed clark but he was dressed as the green arrow but she said she felt something so the writers may be setting up something. And the good guys are a group of superheroes that i think are coming out next episode with aquaman, the flash, cyborg guy and someone else.
