Yep, blood pressure drops and rises in the last trimester are the culpret. Make sure she gets up slowly and eats smaller more regular meals instead of 3 big ones a day (not enough room anymore in that tummy!!!) Also drink lots and lots of water. Dizzy and sick can be a sign of preaclampsia (pregnancy induced hypertension) for which she'll be put on bed rest. Nothing super to worry about between now and tomorrow, but your doctor will check her BP and protiene levels to be sure and will advise you more from there.

Nausea In 3rd Trimester

It is normal. I went to the doc yesterday and he said it was normal but was concerned with my racing heart and loss of breath. It has been happening daily and they hooked me up to a holter monitor to monitor my heart for 24 hours and I felt great all day! Just goes to show, when you think something is wrong have someone watch it and it wont happen again! I am at 34 weeks and it has been happening for 2 weeks now! I just feel dizzy like I am going to pass out so I don't really go many places now without my husbands shoulder to lean on and my trusty water bottle!!!! Just watch her and if it gets bad then make sure you take her to the ER. Thats what my doc said, and I have had no problems at all my whole pregnancy.

i would say its normal! Every person experiences different things while they are pregnant but I can really empathize with her b/c i am 35 weeks and going through the same things. I have been getting nauseous out of nowhere and am vomiting for no reason here and there. I also have A LOT of hot flashes through out the day and cannot seem to cool off. the dizziness seems to come with the hot flashes for me. I was worried about this stuff at first too b/c with my first pregnancy, I NEVER had ANY of this happen. Tell her to talk to the doctor about it tomorrow but I wouldnt worry until then! Hope this helps to ease her mind!

Its normal. Morning sickness can rear its ugly head again in the 3rd trimester. Also because the baby is smashing her stomach it can cause her to feel quite sick. It happened to me and it was not fun.

Her BP probably drops after she eats because of the pressure of the food in her chest cavity. I know a lot of pregnant women who complain of this in their last months.

I get dizzy and faint whenever I shower, or eat too much. Its probably nothing.

This happened to me in my 3rd trimester. My OB sent me to the cardiologist to run test, and determined that it was vaso-vagal episodes. What happens, as explained to me, is the blood pumping from you heart pumps to fast, and goes to her legs. It causes her blood pressure to drop, and ultimately to pass out. What I was told to do, was either lay on my left side, or if walking or standing, to crouch down, (It looks silly, but works) What this does is prevents all the blood from going to her legs, and makes it easier to pump throughout the rest of her body. Oh, and Congratulations!!!!
