Sounds like you definitely need to get a new lawyer. This one is WAY out of line. If you can't afford the retainer for a new lawyer, go to the court house and find out how to contact Legal Aid in your area. They provide legal services at little or no cost.

Stop paying her first of all (assuming that's possible). She at that point will either stop "helping" you, or get on the ball.
You might also file a complaint with the Bar in your state. Sounds like the woman isn't doing what she got paid for

I think you just got yourself a lazy one . call the courthouse and get a status and if you find out this lawyer waited to file the papers have her brought up on charges . First get another attorney to finish the job with your ex. Then find out who you need to report her to. There is no excuse for behavior like that just because she is a lawyer. You have paid your hard earned money for her to do her job and she hasn't done it.

You need to file a complaint about your lawyer. She is taking you for a ride. You should have had something in your possesion by now that shows that he was served. Good luck and GOD bless.

She is trying to get more money of of you. Go to your local court house start and finish the process in a fraction of the time and take her nonlawyering self to small claims court. Still be nice to her right now because she will all of a sudden know the laws to get and keep your money

Your pool will take about faster or later to fill up with 2 backyard hoses assuming frequent water rigidity. keep in mind that your pool will fill swifter at evening that in the day because the water rigidity grant from the city is larger at evening even as anybody is snoozing and in no way doing laundry and taking showers.
