I heard some one say once that every body is prejiduce just in different areas. Some people are prejiduce over race, others education, others wealth or lack of wealth, some are prejeduce over religion, some are prejeduce over gender, others over physcical limitations. I once had a woman complain about me to my manager because she felt I walk too slow. A week after she complained I was in surgery for my knee. She didn't bother to find out why I walk so slow before complaining about it. My husband continually says that all rich people are theifs. He says none of them earned the money they have and that they stoled it from their customers and employees.

Is every one prejiduce is some way?

I used spell checker....it came up with no errors. I can not be responsible for a computer program that doesn't work properly.

In it's purest form, absolutely, yes all people have prejudice.

Defined it means:

1. an unfavorable opinion or feeling formed beforehand or without knowledge, thought, or reason.
2. any preconceived opinion or feeling, either favorable or unfavorable.
3. unreasonable feelings, opinions, or attitudes, esp. of a hostile nature, regarding a racial, religious, or national group.

If you are christian you might refer to one prejudice as the light of Christ, (.........for it is given to all men that they may know good from evil.......), if not you may know a prejudice as conscience, we are born with an innate sense of right or wrong, as we grow, our agency allows us to fashion that basic innate knowledge as we decide. Some use it in one way others apply it in another, but we are not born tabula rosa (or a blank slate).

So yes in a sense all are prejudice in some form. Not that that is always a bad thing. And no I do not believe that all people hold negative prejudices.

True.~~~Absolutely everybody is prejudice over something weather they want to admit it or not. Because the word prejudice seems to mean your a mean person, nobody wants anybody to know that they are. But sometimes its a good thing to be prejudice. Imagine that nobody was prejudice about killing. Everybody would start killing everybody and who would stop them?
Police are prejudice about crime, Firemen are prejudice about starting fires. Everybody falls into a different category is all.

True. To be prejudiced means that you prefer one thing over another. This term usually applies to races and sexes, but it can be broadly applied to every aspect of life.

Only like Pepsi products? Than you are prejudiced against Coca-Cola. Do you only use Dell computers? Then you are prejudiced against Apple.

Make sense?

I believe that's true.

I don't like religion, but I don't mind people who follow it. I do not like the religious people who push their opinions onto others though. Those are the people who I'm prejudice against.

Yes of course, it's human nature, you might call it prejudice, but others would call it differently. Beliefs, truth, religion. Your ideas will differ from other people's, as everybody is different.

I wouldn't say prejudiced, exactly.. but I would say that everyone has judged someone else, based on something they've seen, rather than finding out the truth first. It's just human nature.
