I grew up in a city and I'm now living in the country - but I miss city life.......the smoggy air, the litter lol.

Only joking. There are bad things to the city, but I love it. The hustle and bustle, the fact there is loads to do and you don't have to wait for hours on a bus to get anywhere. I basically miss the nightlife and the shopping.

Depends on where in the city. Many downtowns are beautiful with extravagant architechture dating back to who knows when, along with many more people to meet. You are much closer to places than in the country, and most of the time get to meet a more diverse crowd.

to have everything on your doorstep - restaurants, theatres, public transport, cafes, shops, places to go, things to do - why wouldn't you want to live in a city? the countryside is OK but it is isolated and it takes forever to get anywhere and the buses run infrequently and are so expensive because the journeys are so much longer, you're absolutely stranded if you don't have a car or can't drive

There is always plenty of transport, to get to all the different things there are to do. Shops, theatres, cinemas, pubs, clubs, and so on all within easy distance.
Everything you could want. Hope this helps.
