Claire's in the Mall is a great place to have your child's ear pierced. They are usually more expensive, but they are better quality ear rings and the people are more professional.

You can also get your daughters ears pierced at Wal-Mart. I'm not sure what the age requirement is there though. I did both of my daughters ears when they were infants. Don't let people tell you that you are abusing them or being a bad mom because my 15 year old daughter told me "Thank you for piercing my ears when I was little mom because I didn't have to take care of them or feel it getting done." It was until she said that that I was concerned about getting my youngest daughters ear pierced. After she said that, I did not have any problem with it at all.

However, I heard that there was a lady in the mall who had her daughter's ears pierced and a passerby called the cops on her and reported her because she thought she was being cruel. Stupid woman!

People don't realize that it is much more safer for a mother to pierce a smaller child's ears because the mother will take better care of the ears than an older child will. My own doctor has told me that.

Don't you think your son to young to all ready have peircing? Your causes him to grow up a little to soon. Let him be an eight year old boy, not a sixteen. Save that money for his college education instead.

If she wants her ears pierced you can go to any piercing place and get them done...I wouldn't suggest a place that uses a piercing gun tho...All the gun does is push the skin and fat tissues back to the back side of the earring and then it gets that gross stuff falling off after a few days too a week. Its just best if you have it done at a actual parlor that does professional piercings.

What type of peircing? If anything other than ears then I feel that your child is too young.

Hmmm...

At the Child Abuse store in the mall. The county jail sundries store. I think Kids-R-Good-To-Punch-Holes-In has a wide selection.

Outside of them, I wouldn't imagine they can't wear anything someone grown would wear, except perhaps for weight concerns with bigger earings, etc. (you know, less flesh between hole and edge of ear on a little ear than a bigger one).

So I wonder: real question or just yankin' our cranks?

Hope I was of some help.

I hope you mean earrings...
After that I wouldn't let my 8 year old pierce anything else. There are a lot of serious health risks involved. You should do some research first..

By piercings (note the spelling), I am presuming you mean ear-rings.
It is illegal for children under the age of 16 to have body piercings.
Earrings can be bought from any decent jeweller.

I had my ears done when I was six after pestering my parents for about a year!
Claires accessories or other reputable parlour will do it, provided you give your consent and stay with them throughout the procedure. Also Claires have some utterly adorable jewellery as well that's suitable for children
