On occasion, as in once a month, is ok, but no more often than this. Any processed foods tend to be high in fat, and preservatives that are not good for fish. Too much fat can lead to fatty liver disease, which is often the demise of aquarium fish that are fed table scraps or feeder fish, like gold fish or rosie reds.

Do the fish a favour and stay away from mammal and poultry meat. It's very unnatural to them and completely unlike anything in their natural diet. It can (and prolonged, will) cause health problems, for Oscars in particular extreme constipation that can lead to death if not caught.

Will it hurt once in a while? Maybe not, but is it worth the risk at all when there are so many healthy and more natural alternatives available.

As people are saying, processed foods are bad for your fish. So are fatty foods and hot dogs have a lot of fat in them. One of the best foods for your Oscar is beef heart. You have to cut off all the white fatty sinewy parts. You can then cut it up in bite size pieces and freeze it on a tray so they are not all stuck together. Then pull out a piece at a time. It shouldn't be the main part of the diet but it will make them really grow.

Sure on occasion it is okay. Oscars will eat ANYTHING!! =)
You could feed them crickets on occasion too. But be sure to give them a healthy diet and a variety, they can get hole in the head disease if they are not being fed the right foods.

Occasionally, yeah, it wouldn't harm your oscar.
However, processed meats aren't any good for anyone and would not do him any good because they are so salty. Stick with healthy, quality foods as much as possible.
But as a rare treat? Yeah, it's fine.
