It sounds like you matured and he really did not. You have changed - through your experiences - and he has not been changed through his own.

When we are young, silly is sometimes attractive as it can bring fun into our existence. You may remember him as having that endearing characteristic.

As we mature, it is still at times fun but we realize that "fun" is secondary in our lives to Joy or lasting happiness. They are not the same. Your youthful memory was endearing but for him not to grow beyond that leaves much wanting.

Probably at the time u liked his immature-ness and silly-ness. And he just stayed that way, So now that u're looking for something different, he ain't special no more.

well when you're in jr high, you're looking for different qualities in guys than when you're an adult. I don't know the kid so I couldn't tell you why you liked him then, but if he hasn't changed much since jr high and you have matured, then its no wonder you don't like him now... he's still acting like a kid.

I think when some thing sticks in your mind that means that you want him or some thing. I am not saying that you want him but that is probably the only thing that is in your mind for the pass few years

Unless it is causing you disfunction like making you unable to work , causing you to drink and drive or making you want to kill some one then I think you should probably not try to figure some things out. Just live your life. ask your self this, does it really matter?

maybe because you listened to that song "I can't get you outta my head" to much?

or maybe because your soul feels a connection with him, no matter how silly his is, you love him for his true colors. Maybe what your soul needs is a little fun and excitment, and he has that for you.. And your soul/mind knows it.
