I would agree with the powere supply theory. Since power supplies are dis-similar in design, take it to a computer tech to have it diagnosed. Some will simply look at your computer for free.

Most power suppy failures are due to excessive heat. Make sure you have a can of compressed air and you use it on the entire inside of a computer about once a month.

check all your connections, the only thing it could be it your power supply doesnt work, or your power supply isnt plugged into the MB correctly. If it worked before and you didnt shake it around, then its probably just the power supply.

If you decide to buy a new one look for a higher wattage, so you can add new components..

If you added a external Hard Drive or etc. and then it stopped powering up then you caused a shortage, hopefully it wouldnt short out the MB, cause sometimes it happens.

Anyways good luck.

I presume you tried turning the switch on and off ( the one on the power supply in the back.
If this is the case, I suggest you get it to the hospital. it's sick. It may be no more than a $30 power supply.

As regards the solutions some undesirable PSU they're incorrect. A PSU the two works or it does not. i might say which you the two have a motherboard or tricky tension project. besides it does not be something you could desire to repair. you could desire to place it right into a workshop and enable them to run a bench attempt on it to verify precisely what the priority is. As we gained't actual see what that's doing any answer given is organic hypothesis.
