Whoever is elected by the Electoral College in December, 2008. Remember that you're not voting for a candidate - you're voting for the elector who will then select the candidate. Different states have different rules about who they can vote for, but it's possible for your state's popular vote to select a republican, but then the elector can vote for a democrat. It's happened before.


It's also possible for a president to lose the popular vote, but win because they carry a majority in the electoral college. It's a quirky situation that really should be changed, but that requires a constitutional amendment to do so. So far, nobody has been able to get that ball rolling.

I don't even want to think about it right now. The US is in this perpetual election cycle. Let's just take a break fpr a bit and worry about the next president next year.

maybe if that secretary of state or Hilary run they'd be good because its time to put some change in our government
