wpm means words per minute. Dictation is when someone is telling you what to type and you are writing it down as they speak. Shorthand is a way to take notes quicker using symbols and letters instead of whole words, and data entry is inserting data into a computer system.

For me it is between 40 and 50 WPM. I am in a computer applications class.
