One time at my old house, the doorbell rang, and I went to get it, and there's like these two old ladies there tryin to convince me to join their... service, or something. I'm like, "You see me bothering you? Hypocrites!" And shut the door. Would u have done that?

yo, YOU ARE EXACTLY THE KINDA PERSON I'M TALKIN ABOUT! So just cuz I think you're weird for bein all like "join, or thy soul shall be devoured!!!" That means I don't appreciate life? Not! I appreciate every minute, especially knowin I ain't sold my soul! RELIGIOUS FANATICISM is my resentment here. I may not go to church but I pray all the time! You'd be surprised! If you can't appreciate me or anyone else just for who they are, my oh my.... Say it with me, HYP-O-CRITE!!!

I tell them politely that I am not interested.
And tell them to have a good day.
End of story.

no they just want you to come to their church. why does that tick you off? and what do you mean by "religious weirdos" are you saying that people that have a religion are weird? if you are you need to get out more. is it so wrong to want what will last forever. to be with the one person that loves you no matter what. that will always want to talk? who gave his life for you (yes im talking about Jesus and im a christian) if thats so weird then you mmust like hate life or something. all i know is its the weirdos that will spend life and life after that happy. you should give that sum consideration and a whole lot of other people

I had a similar incident while at vacation at a friend's house. A group of them came upon us trying to convince me to join them. I looked up at them from chopping wood with the same face the Jack Nicholson made in "The Shining" as he broke through the door. With that face, I said "I am a Druid and we are having a black mass tonight. Care to join us?"

Needless to say, they took of in a heart beat.

I love it when jehovahs witness show up at my door and ask if I'd like to talk about G-d. I say, "Sure, what is it that you'd like to know?" as I pull out the Star of David I've got on a chain around my neck so they can see it. They never really know how to respond.

I simply tell them "Sorry, but I am not interested in a religion that does not love and care for all people".
It is the same thing that I tell the Boy Scouts when they try and sell me something at Wal-mart, "Sorry, but I don't support groups that discriminate against others because they are different".

Some days I simply smile sweetly and pull my pentacle out of my shirt, other days I simply tell them that they can go to the same place they are so fond of threatening others that do not follow their mind control.

I would have said I respect your opinion on religion & would never try & convert you I'm asking for the same respect. Then if they kept on I would say Thank you for stopping by, God Bless you but I must go now.

Put out your hand and ask for a credit card so they can make a donation to the Gay Lesbain group in your Area and for their phone number

It depends but I tend to like to have a bit of fun with them. Especially the mormons or the JW that come to the door.

The look you get when you tell them you have to get back to your satanic worshipping is priceless.
