I don't mean to speak for liberals, not being one myself, but perhaps they are a tad bothered by an incompetent President who is responsible for thousands of deaths over a personal obsession that had nothing to do with 9/11 or Al Queda, or WMDs, or nuclear proliferation, or for that matter a humane interest in freeing Iraqi citizens from a tyrant. Perhaps compassion has to take a backseat when there's a dangerously clueless President running your country who seems determined to start WWIII before he leaves office. Just a guess though...

The liberals ARE the intellectually challenged. Who exactly are they compassionate towards? Not the Iraqis, not the Somalis, not the Israelis, not the religious, not any non-liberals...etc. Oh, that's right they're compassionate towards genocidal maniacs (Saddam), terrorist baby killers (Palestinians)...etc.

Wait, they voted for Kerry who had a worse grade point average than GW so it appears as if they are compassionate to the intellectually challenged.

I'll put it this way: If George Bush were all alone in that big house on Pennsylvania Avenue, I'd be more forgiving of his many faults and problems, because, let's face it, he just can't help it. But the fact is, he is not alone, and instead of surrounding himself with competent advisers and strategists, he is surrounded by incompetence on a multitude of levels.

Maybe they aren't? I see a lot of confusion here between the word liberal and the concept of liberal. No one wants to throw monogamy under a bus, thats nonsense, in fact a case could be made for homosexual monogamy in marriage, but of course thats a threat to....well not to me, but maybe to you. Theres nothing wrong with compassion toward the sick and elderly or the child and the challenged, but Bush isnt intellectually challenged, hes just convinced hes right, about anything he wants to be right about, and he won't take advice from the men who know better, so hes bordering on the mentally ill maybe, but its not that hes challenged, its that hes convinced.

Now that is an excellent question. You have succeeded in making me laugh on a day that another 100 Iraqis are killed because of this intellectually challenged person's actions. Really enjoyed that. Thanks

There are very few people in history responsible for somewhere around a half a million deaths.

Bush happens to be one of them.

the answer is simple because the man is evil. He is not stupid he is sneaky. We have no compassion for him because he has none for the people in this country or in the world.

I've often wondered that myself...only my own slant is, liberals are so for free thinking, do your own thing, anything is ok, then when I try to do my own thing, i.e. hunt, live a respectable life, live with and love only one woman, they throw me under the bus. Say I'm being a tightwad or what have you. Don't make sence.
