You can be seriously attracted to 2 people. But you can't love 2 people.

i think it is possible...but it is also wanting ur cake and eating it too. u will eventually be hurting one, both, or ALL 3 people involved..which is why, a person who finds it important to be honorable, trustworthy, and committed, will eventually choose one or neither person. because dragging two people along is not.... honorable. u know what i mean? even if both people Want to be with u, it doesn't mean that you are doing a good thing by giving ur affections to two people like that.

insecurity does play a part in some cases, such as when u don't know if one person is committed, so u find someone else who gives u that "attention." but it still doesn't change the fact that u are not really choosing Respect and Committment as a priority. for urself AND that person. if u were not sure, u should be single, not allowing two people to get dragged along w/ ur insecurity. good luck to all who have this problem!

You can trully care for somebody, and then there is trully caring and loving somebody. The one you care for can sometimes cause confusion in that it is misinterpreted as love, but it is probably nothing more than feeling a unique bond of friendship and perhaps going back a long way with that person. But when you trully love somebody, that is a one off - you'd do anything for that person, and you want to share all the good and bad with them and want to plan your lifelong dreams and aspirations with them. Thats the difference. If you feel that you love 2 people, the only cure would be to be true to yourself perhaps, and distance yourself from both. Take a holiday, spend time on yourself and see which one you miss whilst you are away. You'll probably surpise yourself to find that you missed neither and that you just needed time away to clear your head. Time to be alone for a bit. In situations like this it might be in everyone's interest if you don't pursue a relationship with neither, but to be alone for a while and then you'll eventually find your true love - and then you will realise that you can only be in love with one person at a time.

honestly its all of what everyone said. You probably dont want to be alone, and you can love someone and be IN love with someone else. Or you can be IN love with both of them. What you need to do is sit down somewhere and seriously think about what YOU want from a relationship with either of them. If that doesnt work for you sit down with one of them at a time and talk to them about it one on one. See what they want out of it and see if its what you want too. Just be able to talk with them and it will all work out in the end. Hope you're happy in the end.

Sure you can love your brother and your mom.
But it is insecurity, selfishness, and desire that gets one involved in more than one person.
Love is with all your heart, all your self.
How can someone ever give their all to more than one person?

yes its possible but if you mean two partners then you're in deep trouble. i suggest you make your mind up quickly who you want and say goodbye to the other, youre only going to hurt someone and yourself more the longer it carries on.
