I love the name Audrey Josphine, Josphine after my grandmother whom I never got to meet, it is also my sister's middle name so here are my questions...
My mom's middle name is Ann and I also love that and want to pay tribute to her...so I want to combine Audrey and Anne, I have heard of Adrianna but how would you spell Audreyanna? (see what I mean the y looks silly but I dont want ppl to confuse it with Adrianna. Also do you think I should ask permission to use Josphine from my sister, she is only 18 but should I as it is her middle name too?

Well I think you should tell your sister about your idea but don't say it like you are asking permission. Tell her like you just told us... I want to honor grandma...what do you think?

I would spell it Audriana....gorgeous name!

I would go with Audrianna or even just Audreana. The 'Au' should limit confusion with Adrianna. Is there a reason you prefer Josphine to Josephine? I don't think you need your sister's permission to use it. It is a family name so your not stealing it from her or anything. Most people would be honored by this not offended. Just tell her what you are planning and see how she reacts. Anyway it is a cute name. Good luck!

I love the name too, especially Audrey. Maybe you could give her two middle names, Audrey Ann Josephine? However, that might be longer than you want it to be. You could use the name Audrianna, a little like Adrianna, but pronounced with the same first sound as Audrey. Hope this helps! Good luck.

First I don't think you need to ask your sister to use Josphine. She shoudn't get mad that you use it and if you ask her ahead of time she may get irritated and say no, and then you are stuck. Just do it and she'll love it. :)

As for Audreyanna I think it looks a little awkward...

You could always use two middle names....
Audrey Anna Josephine and call her Audrey Anna. You could even hypenate it....
Audrianna is a better spelling I believe...Audriana works also.

Good Luck! SD

I think your sister would be touched if you wanted to use her name for the baby. My sister used my name for my niece's middle name, and I consider it a compliment.

I think Audrey Josphine is really nice. I don't know if your grandma Josphine was your Mom's Mom, but I think your mom is going to be touched just knowing you're using your sisters middle name.

I would just stick with Audrey Josphine.... if you ever have another baby, use Ann with that one.

Why not use three names - Audrey Anna Josephine (assuming you are spelling that incorrectly). You can call the girl Audrey Anna. Actually I think that Audrey Ann would be better.

I think that combining the names will be awkward.

Do you intend to have only one child? You could save one of those names for later!!!

I have a friend named Audrianna -pronounced (audrey-on-a)

It is a beautiful name...congratulations on the new baby coming.

Also, as a new Auntie, I would be HONOURED to have my neice have my middle name.
I don't think you NEED to ask her, but I would let her know, I am sure she will love it.

How about Audrianna? It looks and sounds pretty, and I don't think there will be a problem with pronunciation.

Your don't need to ask 'permission' to use your sister's middle name, but if you tell her you'd like to honor her by using it, I'm sure she will be flattered.

I like your creativity with Audrey + Anna! : )

I would spell it Audriana or Audrianna. The "u" makes it look and sound different from Adrianna. I don't think you need to ask your sisiter permission to use the name, it is after you grandmother not her.

I would try Audrianna or Audriana. And I would think that your sister would be honored and happy to share her middle name, especially since it is a name with meaning to your family

I don't think you need her permission. I'd just tell her that you have choosen (or are considering) using her middle name. I think she'd be flattered!

Audrianna?

But, the "u" looks out of place there too.

What about Audrey-Anna?

Audrey-Anne
Audrianne
Audriann
Audreyanne
