Depends on the flavoring. Try mixing some orange tang in his water. The vitamin C will help fight off scurvy. I wouldn't suggest giving him soda, but tang is actually a good thing for him. I gave it to mine all the time, at the recommendation of a vet.

Please don't. Those things can be harmful to your pig. The best information you can ever hope for your guinea pig can be found here:

Also, some have mentioned putting vitamin C in the water. This is actually not a good idea. I can make the water taste funny and some will not drink it. The best way to give them votamin c is in fresh veggies that are high in vit. C.

Guinea pigs don't need flavored water or pop. If you want your pet to be healthy and happy and live a long life, give it only food that is meant for that animal and plenty of fresh water.

I really don't know about the pop, but guinea pigs must have a good source of vitamin c, because their bodies don't produce it naturally. So I think orange juice would be ok.

Don't flavor his water with anything for humans!

They sell a Vitamin C booster that is supposed to be in water for Guinea Pigs! It will make his water flavorful and keep him healthy. FInd it at your local pet store!

I DO NOT think it would be a good idea. Why give him all the extra sugars that we're all hopped up on? He's OK drinking clean water, I'm sure.

It's really not good for him. The carbonation will give him indigestion and he really doesn't need all that sugar. If you want to give him a treat, it is safe to give him a small amount of yogurt once in a while.

Guinea pigs drink water, humans drink sprite.
Why would that even run through your head?

It should not hurt him if you give him a little. To much may give him a heart attack though. Keep in mind, the guinea pig will get hyper when you give him sugar water.

Well, apparently you can leave bowls of coke/pepsi out which will kill rats. It's gassy and makes the animals explode. If this is true, your guinea pig will explode too! Please don't!
