I don't think so. I think he honestly believes that if he doesn't create a "free" country in the middle east, the western world is in big trouble.

Follow the money--the only true way to monitor greed. Bush and his buddies will profit immensely from the 30 year privatization contracts being drawn up in the New Iraqi Parliament. Were talking about light, sweet crude and deposits of natural gas that are the most desirable resources a Big Oil conglomerate can hope for. They say there's enough Oil in Iraq to directly compete with OPEC, not to mention the overall supply is greater than the Saudi's reserves.

Prior to the War--Iraq's oil policy did not involve any foreign interests by law. The sanctions were about to be lifted and Saddam had contracts drawn up with the Chinese, Russia, and other non-American entities to develop and market Iraqi Oil. The Saudi's, American Big Oil, British Big Oil, and the like couldn't accept that fact so in that infamous secretive Energy meeting Cheney and the boys put together a strategy to steal it all and then 9/11 popped up and they hatched the scheme.

Is it any wonder the Liar-In-Chief is so interested and Thick Haded about his policy--follow the money. Where under his plan--the status quo of Big Oil and Colonization for the stealing of natural resources can be the only objective he has in mind.

How some of these Bush backers remain ignorant of the facts, fail to comprehend the history, take everything into consideration and follow the evidence and through common sense not deduce the quest for OIL as the absolute justification in Bush' Brain for manipulating the might of our entire system to meet this objective is beyond comprehension.

Some of you liberals are so very ignorant. The opportunities that await the Bush family far outweigh getting the oil in the MiddleEast.
The oil will be given to us by those we set free at a better than reasonable price. It will payback the monies we have poored into their freedom.
In the end all will be equal.

If that were the case, then he didn't do it right. Saudi Arabia has the most known oil reserves in the world. Canada is #2. If this was about oil, why not invade on of those two instead of a country lower on the list?

No.There has been no attempt by this administration to acquire control over Iraqi oil .In fact the only thing he said about Iraqi oil is that the Iraqi government should give every Iraqi citizen a stake in the country's economy, part of his new plan, which has been agreed to by the Iraqi government is to pass legislation to share oil revenues among all Iraqis.

It would seem to me that is part of the plan but I also believe that he is out to redeem his father. The US has a small supply of oil in AK but no one wants to use that. Congress and Bush would rather take the oil from the Middle East and kill our solders in the process. The war should be call the "War for Oil" not the "War on Terrorist"

There is nothing that indicates that the Bush is getting oil. No reports, no documents, no investigations, no proof. Why do you people always seem so ignorant when it comes to issues?

For the last time, this war is NOT about oil! it is about obliterating a heinous war monger and, hopefully, allowing the long oppressed iraqii people a chance to live in freedom.

No. If it were only about oil, the easiest thing would be to cut a deal with Saddam to keep him in power as long as the oil flowed to us. Iraq is all about the cockamamie scheme of the Neocons to remake the Middle East to make it safe for Israel.
