Hands down Michael Vick. He doesn't have top QB numbers, nor does he have the heart or leadership skills to win a championship, YET every year, the "Experts" grab onto his jock strap and hold on tight proclaiming "This will be the year when Vick shines!!!!"

Well............We're still waiting!

Vick is fine at QB - he just needs to get a team that doesn't force him to scramble and create his own plays so much... if he can't find one soon, he's not gonna be around this league much longer.

Brady is a proven leader, even if he's not the best arm in the league, so the answer is also not Tom Brady. The fact that most of the people saying Brady is overrated are from Chargers fans should tell you something.

Roethlisberger isn't rated that high, so I don't know that I'd call him overrated. Nobody expects him to be the second coming of Joe Montana.

Right now, I would say the most overrated QB in the league is choke artist and injury specialist Donovan McNabb. Show me what this guy has done the last 4 years that have earned him some sort of title as a "great one"?! He's had a few good games, but he has failed in the big ones, and he's had such monumental injuries that his team presence has been a non-factor. And yet, every announcer and analyst in the league has to call him some sort of phenom because Rush Limbaugh made a racist comment about him years ago. Donovan McNabb just isn't that good.

I Wanna Say Eli But Mike Vick Is Jus Right For This Discussion...I Knew Falcons Would Have A Championship In Less Than 3 Years When They Drafted Him...But Once Again The Madden Curse Hit Him And He Sucks...Playmaker, Yes...Franchise And Superbowl QB, No....Move Him To WR...He Might Have A Better Chance There

Eli Manning and Michael Vick oh, yeah, Big Ben.

Eli is and will be at best an average to slightly above average.

Vick is a tremendous athlete but it too impatient - make him a slash and let the playmaker loose down the field and on punt returns.

Big Ben has trouble with mechanics and is the most dependent on a running game. He was sainted as the next Brady, yet in reality as a Super Bowl winning QB is more on par with the ex-Raven's QB Trent Dilfer - he's there to 'manage the game'.

I don't think anyone is really overated at the moment. Everyone knows Vick is not and may not ever be the truly complete Qb that some may have expected. Critics surley aren't giving young Manning much room to breath. Grossman has still not solidified his place as one of the NFL's elite in the eyes of most as well. One wonders how much McNabb will have in the tank come next season and Tony Romo has really done nothing but lift this team to its most exciting season in a while. One play doesn't make someone overated! Romo proved that he can do the most important thing a Qb has to do and well....get his teamates to believe in him! In my opinion it was proven to me this year that the most disappointing player at the Qb position was Big Ben!
Horrible season and a lot of horrible play!
Look, there is something that irks me a little too about P.Manning, but its probably the same thing that makes him the real deal! He wins ball games and his team believes in him! Coach Dungy loves his work ethic and he really doesn't talk smack! Brady although a different ilk, is the premier Qb in the game today! If any of you are real football fans just think about how many other Qbs have ever had the chance to win "4" count em...F...O...U...R!....Super Bowls! This team is a team that trully evolves around this Qb! And Coach 'B' smartly lets his engine do what it does and thats win ball games with a never give up attitude! With a drop of oil here and a drop of oil there Coach B believes in Brady just as much as the rest of the team!
Its easy to hate the guys that do what they do so well...and look good doing it....and know it!!!! But hey...real fans know what makes greatness! Its winning ball games...lots of ball games...year in and year out! And thats what these two guys do....and they look good doing it...and yes they know it!
Hate em'....but give thier props people!

Eli Manning isn't overrated. You have to be regarded highly to be overrated. Most of the NFL thinks he stinks. Here's mine:

#1 - Tony Romo
#2 - Michael Vick
#3 - Vince Young

1.Vick, 2. E. Manning, 3. Culpepper, 4. Rothliesburger

Eli will develope but he has been thrown into the most heavily scrutinzed media center off the draft! I think Vince Young woulda crumbled if in the same situation as Manning. Rothliesburger has been given too much too early. He is good but no where in the league as Brady or Peyton Manning.

Vick has had 5 years, i say Vick. Eli Manning has had 3 years , and you get the impression that Eli is like alone on his own team, I think he needs HELP, An experienced backup he can lean on for advice, and a QB guru, hell, why dont the Giants hire Archie Manning to work with Eli. ... ive seen enough of him in big spots make big plays for me to give him another year, Theres sumthing about Eli, i dunno, i think he could be real good with sum damn teaching help. But Vick has had 5 years... He is the Most overated BY FAR.

I agree with you. Vick is so overrated. I think Brady is overrated but he fits the system and has won the rings. Vick hasn't done sh!t and everyone keeps talking how they have to get him talent. BS! You could give Vick the best receivers and he still can't throw the ball.
