That's way I asked "THAT" gay life. I know, that movie is not a real representation of all the gay life in Australia.

Qué chingaos haces aqui? No ves que son medio prepotentes los australianos que te están respondiendo?. Te responden medio feo. Yo mejor no me meto aqui. Tienes que tratarlos con pinzas para no ofenderlos. Aguas!!!
Por cierto, respecto a tu pregunta, es cierto en gran medida pero acuérdate que se trata de una comedia, así que no es verdad todo lo que veas. Puede estar exagerado o manipulado para hacer la comedia. Excelente película de los australianos, no crees? Priscilla es de las mejores películas extranjeras que tratan uno de tantos temas gay.

OMG! I LOVE THAT MOVIE!!!!!! But its not very real LOL. Well it is real, and it could and probably has happened, but its not really a representation of the gay community, just the misadventures of 3 Drag Queens in the Outback. A good representation of the gay community is something like Trick, now thats an amazing movie that makes me cream my jeans, until i have to look at Tori Spelling >.<

The movie accurate displays a very small portion of the gay life style.
Just like there are different types of straight men there are many different types or groups of gays. You have bears, leather, drag queens, etc etc... the list goes on and on and some people may belong to multiple groups.
The movie just like the news or media never accurate portrays the entire community. Everytime the news covers a pride parade it usually only captures the extreme cases ie men in drag with 5' hair etc.

Priscilla is about drag queens...not about gay life.
It's like asking if Taco Bell is a real representation of Mexico.

It does accurately portray some in the gay community, but not alot. As they say, it takes all kinds, and I was proud of the ones represented in Priscilla!

I know there are outrageous drag queens in Mexico. Go to a drag show and check it out

How much reality is there in most movies? I mean who wants to watch a movie where the people go to work and come home and make dinner and put the kids to bed and the next day do the same thing and the next day do the same thing and then next day do the same thing......
