if you are going to get a 0 on it if you don't take it then i would take it. that way you at least stand a chance of getting a higher score then that. then i would see if there was any way i could get some extra credit work and make sure i did it really well.

Yes because anything is better than a 0. Also, you may know more than you think, and you may get a better grade than you think if your teacher grades on a curve.
