There is no legal deadline for noise.
There are criteria to apply to classify this activity as nuisance.
I suggest that you talk to your neighbour (or the person making the noise) and explain calmly that you would appreciate some piece in the evenings.
If that brings no joy, contact the envirnmental health department at your local council. They have the power to apply for enforcement notices if necessary.

There are criminal limits to noise toxins, about 90dB i imagine. Contractors are required to apply equipment that minimize noise toxins. besides the undeniable fact that you want to seem up some criminal internet sites as to how this impacts you. attempt the region below, which will grant you with different hyperlinks to guidelines etc. Sorry i visit't be of any extra help. Didn't realise there was a legal time limit in the eve's
I know you can't start (on a building site) before 6.30 am, but think it's down to discretion, in the evenings

You need to speak to the citizens advice bureau or you local environmental health department at the council.
