I'd love to start talking to this guy who works in a shop i visit very often, i've never spoken to him before and if things go well, i'd love to ask him out to a coffee or something like that...the thing is, i've never had a boyfriend before and it's the first time i'm in this situation as i am 16 and i am completely scared of rejection. What do you think i should do? I'd appreciate any advice! Thankyou... :-)

Well, first off, I would start talking to him. Feel him out.....once you start talking to him, you'll get to know him better. He could have a girlfriend for all you know! But, once you get talking to him, maybe he'll even ask you out first!! Haha! Just go for it, guys like to be flattered to. Just don't overdo it, or you'll scare him off! Good luck!

go in more often. make small talk. "hey! how's work going?" etc.. it sounds kinda stalkerish, i know, but try to find out what time he gets off work and come in like 10 minutes before then.. then casually ask him if he wants to get coffee after he gets off work. if he says no, act like it's no big deal. "okay, another time.." and smile and walk away and don't let it phase you. rejection WILL happen in everyone's life. you just have to get over it. it's NOT the end of the world. and if he does say no, don't let that stop you from coming in to the store. if you stop coming into his shop, he'll know that he affected you.. if he sees that he didn't phase you, he might become interested.. guys like girls who could care less about them.. i guess for the same reason that girls are attracted to as_holes. =/

start off with a hello, and go from there ... get to know him, you don't want to ask a fella out who will say NO because you didn't know what his situation is/was -- meaning, he's got a girlfriend or boyfriend or whatever -- that's putting yourself into the rejection bowl. chit/chat is always good, mention a movie and as you're talking about it casually ask "well, what did your girlfriend think of it?" you'll get the answer. Ask him out! You only live once. If anything goes wrong you can just stop going there to see him. Don't be nervous though.

I'd say talk to him a little first, that way you can sorta see if he's a pshyco or not. Hope that helps!

Well, Ask him...... what do you have to lose? I hate rejection too but ive learned CARPE DEIM.. if you dont do it now, then you might not have a chance to later on when you get up the guts. its going to be hard. but DO it!! we are rooting for ya!!

just go up 2 him and ask him if he wants 2 have coffe w/ u or whatever... be completly 4ward about it... he'll say yes or no... and that's the end of it... or is it... (lets hope things go well, hint hint)

just do it....what do you have to lose? if he says no, you're back in the same spot, BUT at least you asked. If you don't, you'll always be wondering "what if...."

it wont hert to ask him and if he says no dont worry about it theres lots of guys out there. for example me and if he says no i will take you out on a date.
