Do you all think that the concept of a sports museum with two sections one being history and the other physics work. The history could feature sports and influence on culture Joe Louis, Jim Thorpe, Ali, Jordan. You could show films and have memorabilia on display,

The physics side could explain with exihibits why balls travel certain distance, maybe the sound of an nfl tackle, a virtual look at a nolan ryan fastball. You could come up with all types of educational ideas between history and science.

Is this a dumb idea or would people be interested.

There's a sports museum in Louisville that has both, but specifically for baseball. It's not the most popular place in town, but it has been around for a couple of decades.

The reason I visited was specifically to see the technical stuff. They don't have a lot--an exhibit that shows the various types of pitches, etc.--and I really would have liked to have seen more about the physics, things that you mentioned.
