Maybe slightly inapppropriate but not crossing the line. The golden globes arent as formal as say the oscars. Tom hanks talking about Warren Beaty's balls, i mean artistic vision, kind of warmed up and loosened up the audience (although Warren did look slightly uncomfortable by the speech). From what I can tell his speech was well recieved and funny.

People are looking to him to be outrageous. The Golden Globes is also way more lax than the Oscars. Also, that is most likely his personality - why else would he do the things he does.
I personaly wasn't offended by it-having seen Borat-but I could see how people who haven't seen the movie or offended easily may have been. On that note I don't think my grandma would of liked it!

Sasha Cohen was delightful and hysterically funny. The scene he referred to was appalling and his description of it was completely accurate while very tactfully worded. He used no slang or tasteless euphemisms and I was amazed to see that he is so charming and attractive.

He should have done his thank you's first, then went to the story. Just about everyone has seen Borat, so I am sure most of the audience was thinking about the nude scene he is referring to anyway.

I liked it. At formal award shows like that it's nice to 'ease' the tension. I laughed.
